Learn proportion and anatomy of the face and head, and take accurate measurements from life to create a fully modelled self-portrait from life and/or a photograph. Train your perception to shift from cartoon stick figures to rich observations in full tonal scale.
1 hour break at noon. Easy walk to local cafes and shops.

Join me for a plein air session at the beautiful Cook's River. I will demonstrate how to respond to the natural environment in situ and explain the principles of composition and framing. I will guide and encourage your natural style to create a lovely landscape from river scenes. Bring an A3 sketchbook and materials e.g. pencils, pastels, watercolours. I will supply drawing boards, clips and willow charcoal. Please dress appropriately for the outdoors.

Create fully modelled, realistic still life drawings that you will be proud of! Make room on the fridge to display your masterpieces...

In the event that ilovedrawing is responsible for rescheduling or cancelling a masterclass course or workshop due to under enrolment, full payment will be refunded or credited towards the next course, whichever is preferred.
